Frequently Asked Questions
- There is no limit to the number of images you can enter.
- There are no restrictions on the date of photograph.
- Published and unpublished work is accepted.
- Photographers can enter from any country worldwide.
- Entry fees must be paid in full and are non-refundable.
- Credit card payments are processed in USD.
- Checks and bank transfers are accepted in USD, GBP and EUR currency.
- Photographs must be black and white - no sepia or color tones in the image (images received with tones or color will be converted to grayscale).
- Images must have no border, embedded marks or logos.
- Prints and digital files will not be returned.
- Winning images will be requested at high resolution after the Photoshow.
- The caption is for anything noteworthy about the photograph (not required),
such as when, where or why it was taken, subject, context, etc.
- Each image can only be entered into one category.
- The professional category is for photographers whose sole occupation and full income is made from photography. Non-professional is for photographers who do not make their main income from photography.
- Digital files should be 72dpi, 1024 pixels longest side, JPEG format at maximum quality. Name file: lastname-firstname_title.
- Final closing deadline is extended to September 10, 2010.
- Winners and nominees will be announced at the live Photoshow, December 4th.
